Employment Law for London (ELF London) telephone advice line
ELF London is an employment law telephone advice line aimed at helping some of the most vulnerable individuals living, working or studying in London by providing free employment law advice. Following widespread legal aid cuts, COVID and the cost of living crisis there is a significant increase in demand for such assistance and ELF London can help get advice to those who need it.
Law student volunteers conduct a fact-finding interview over the telephone with you to gather the background information to your problem. Employment lawyers volunteer remotely (over the telephone or via Microsoft Teams) to give advice on Tuesday evenings between 6.30pm and 8pm in a 30 minute appointment.
You must live, work or study in London and either be an employee or a worker to access this service. Unfortunately, we cannot always guarantee assistance.
All appointments take place remotely. You will be sent full joining instructions once an appointment is confirmed.
To access this free service please phone 0207 633 4534 or email elfhelp@my.bpp.com with your name, phone number and brief details of the employment law problem you have and we will call you back.
