I have a housing problem

Do you have a legal issue regarding a tenancy or lease?

Do you have a legal query about housing, such as service charges or rent deposits?

Have you been served with a s21 notice?

Are you making an application for a Rent Repayment Order?

Do you have a legal dispute with a neighbour?

If yes to any of the above and you live in London or Birmingham, please see the options below.

We are unable to advise on disrepair or housing conditions due to Solicitors Regulation Authority regulations.

BPP Legal Advice Clinic (BLAC)

The clinic operates from our London Holborn centre (usually on a Tuesday evening) and in Birmingham (usually on a Thursday afternoon/evening) by appointment only.  Appointments are available online so you do not need to attend in person.

At your appointment you will meet with law students who obtain full details of your legal problem.  Within two weeks they will provide written advice under supervision of a qualified lawyer.

Find out more or book an appointment at your local clinic.

Drop-in Clinic at First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber)

We also run a clinic on a drop-in basis at the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) in London on a Tuesday morning from 10am to 1pm to advise on applications to the Tribunal, such as service charge disputes, rent disputes and rent repayment orders. The drop-in does not operate in August or September.  Details of the service are available from the Tribunal.

The Tribunal is located at: 10 Alfred Place, London WC1E 7LR
