Pro Bono Work as a Legal Apprentice

Our award-winning legal education project helps to empower individuals by demystifying the law.
Alongside this, sits our Community Outreach Programme, where we empower communities with sessions on areas such as Financial Literacy, Mental Health and Wellbeing and Technology.
We deliver a range of free and interactive workshops to clients around the UK. We can arrange face to face delivery in and around our law schools based in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, London and Manchester. We can also arrange online workshops for clients based elsewhere and/or where online delivery otherwise suits client needs.
Our workshops cover a wide range of topics relevant to the lives of our audiences, which include schoolchildren, community groups, charities, prisoners and ex-offenders, and people affected by homelessness. We are open to working with new audiences if our topics are of interest to you.
We encourage our audience members to participate and think critically, through activities such as role plays, group discussion and quizzes. The format allows for audience members to develop their own opinions in a respectful environment.
The sessions are delivered by trained BPP University students (usually during term time), under supervision from the BPP Pro Bono Centre and BPP University.
Please download a brochure for further details and email streetlawteam@bpp.com with your enquiry.
